Traditionally carried out using a weighted fly press to force metal into a shaped mould decorative metal stamping can be carried out by simply using a shaped punch and a hammer.
I placed a texture plate onto my work table and put a sheet of lightweight metal on top of it.
Wet metal causes tool rust and oxides on the metal will become embedded into the sheet during hammer texturing.

So start with a thicker gauge than what you want your finished product to be.
Tape the four corners down with painter s tape or masking tape.
Cast some silver cuttlebone peices then solder them onto a silver sheet of bright finish.
