Adding a thermostat to a wall heater.
Attach the line and load black wire to thermostat.
This video shows you how to install a wall heater with a wall thermostat.
Cut the wires with a wire.
A thermostat is basically an on off switch.
One end of your hot wire is a line wire which means that it comes off of the power lines and carries power.
Pull the thermostat gently from the wall to expose the wires.
The other end of the hot wire is a load wire meaning that it flows to your baseboard heater.
The next step is to configure the thermostat and set it out for use.
But it can depend on the gas valve that the heater uses it has to be able to accept a thermostat.
Once the heater is ready it will allow you to change and configure the settings of the thermostat.
Attach the other hot wire to your device.
If this happens controlling the heat in your room may get confusing.
Sometimes lightning strikes twice and you find yourself with a built in thermostat when you already have or are ready to upgrade to a wall thermostat.
Locate the wires that extend from the thermostat s rear into the wall opening behind the mounting plate.
